How PathOS Works

A detailed look at the core principles and workflows that make PathOS unique.

1. The Workspace: Your Central Hub

Everything in PathOS happens inside a Workspace. Whether you're working alone, with a small team, or as part of a large organization, the workspace keeps all your data, apps, and conversations isolated and secure. This multi-tenant design ensures your context is always clear and your information never leaks between projects.

2. AI That Assists, Not Automates

Our core principle is "Explicit Authority." AI companions like Seven and Devotee will help you plan, write, and design, but they will never take action without your consent. Complex actions are presented as proposals in Inbox (Actions tab), where you have the final say. This keeps you in control, always.

3. From Idea to App: The Studio

The Studio is the creator's toolkit. It's a generative environment where you can turn a simple idea into a detailed plan, a published article, a website, a game, or even a new mini-app for the OS. The entire process is guided and AI-assisted, making creation accessible to everyone.

4. Structure Over Intelligence

PathOS is built on a solid foundation of well-defined data models. AI agents understand and interact with these models, but they don't define them. This ensures the system remains predictable, stable, and resilient, even as AI capabilities evolve.

5. A Collaborative Economy

Your contributions have value. By completing plans and helping others, you earn Path Experience Points (PXP), which give you influence in the ecosystem. You use Path Energy Points (PEP) for AI actions, and acquire Path Stewardship Points (PSP) to unlock features and participate in governance.

6. NearComm: The Proximity Layer

PathOS bridges the digital and physical worlds through its NearComm proximity layer. By simulating the detection of nearby devices and iBeacons, the OS understands your real-world context. Walk into a connected building, and PathOS can automatically launch a guided AR tour on your device or check you into an event, creating truly location-aware experiences.

7. The Composer: Interactive Media

Go beyond static documents. The Composer app is a timeline-based editor for creating interactive media. You can build slideshows, layer video with text and images, or even design guided AR experiences with questions and triggers. It’s a powerful tool for storytelling and creating engaging, educational content.

8. The Aurora System: Resonance & Discovery

The Aurora System is the human-centric AI that powers social discovery and self-reflection in PathOS. It goes beyond skills and titles by analyzing your work style to build a personal 'resonance profile' across five key dimensions: Logic, Order, Joy, Empathy, and Drive. This unique profile enables the OS to suggest compatible collaborators for your projects and provide gentle, reflective questions to guide your creative process, helping you find your flow.

9. Lighthouse: Operational Intelligence

Lighthouse is PathOS's unified control tower for operations, intelligence, and reporting. It reads and correlates data from across the platform—plans, assessments, financial transactions, and system events—to provide real-time visibility into your workspace's health and performance. Lighthouse never owns domain data or executes actions; it orchestrates visibility and proposes insights, which are then routed to Inbox (Actions tab) for approval. This read-heavy, compose-heavy design ensures powerful business intelligence without disrupting your workflows.

10. Path Sovereign: Lighthouse, Covenant & Synria

Lighthouse is your control tower for operations and intelligence. Covenant is the sovereign trust system: capital moves only when workflows and verification agree. Synria unifies Web3 operations, DAOs, and proof-of-workflow. Together they provide visibility, verification, and governance built into the OS.

11. Projects: Plans, Marketplace & Creation

PathOS Projects are higher-level containers that group plans, marketplace offers, and creation artifacts. Record a timeline as a reusable template and spin up new projects from it. Projects link to the Launchpad and support milestone, open, or date-period modes so you can run campaigns, events, or real-estate transactions in one place.

12. Real Estate: Native Inventory to Close

The Real Estate app is PathOS-native: properties, units, listings, leads, transaction projects, contracts, and vendor ops live inside your workspace. Use white-label portals for public listings, connect listing feeds, run feasibility (NPV, IRR, ROI), and run kiosk sales-centre mode—all without leaving the OS.

13. Storytelling: Composer to Story, AR & Floor Plans

The Composer goes beyond slides and video. Use a mental map to shape a story, then produce timelines, AR experiences, and level-based flows. Roadmap features include transitions, sound, 3D from photos, and floor plans as levels—so you can turn ideas into interactive and spatial experiences.

14. OS AI Agents: Companions, Specialists & Executors

Primary companions (Seven, Devotee) orchestrate but have no direct tool access. Specialist agents—Architect, Researcher, Browser, Modeler, QA, Aurora, Content, Proximity, Marketplace, Real Estate—consult tools and report back. Executor agents (System Builder, Economy Agent) act only on proposals you approve in Inbox (Actions tab). This keeps you in control while AI does the work.
